KFCB TO SUPPORT THE 2018 MR AND MISS ALBINISM EAST AFRICA

The CEO Kenya Film Classification Board Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, Chairman of Albinism Society of Kenya (ASK) Senator Isaac Mwaura, and ASK Patron Agness Kagure, this morning unveiled the #MrAndMissAlbinismEA Finalists and addressed the media on the state of persons with albinism in the region at the InterContinental Hotel, Nairobi.
Dr. Mutua said the Board is committed to fulfill the constitutional requirement to support special groups in line with the Board’s CSR program.
The Board will support this year’s edition of Mr and Miss Albinism East Africa with Sh. 2M besides giving five full scholarships for members of ASK to join the Kenya Film School.
“We are supporting films by and about people with albinism to participate in local and international film festivals,” Dr. Mutua added.
