KFCB Participates at the 3rd National Drama and Film Conference

The Kenya Film Classification participated during the 3rd National Drama and Film Conference organized by the Kenya Universities Performing Arts and Film Association (KUPAA), held from 21st to 24th May 2021 at the Thiiri Cultural Centre in Meru County.
The Board’s Corporate Communications Manager, Ms. Nelly Muluka, represented the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, at the closing ceremony of the conference as the Chief Guest.
Themed: ‘Advocating for Social Responsibility through Performing Arts in the Post COVID-19 Era’, the conference brought together theater trainers, dramatists and film experts from public and private universities in Kenya.
The key objective of the conference was to equip trainers with skills and knowledge on how to prepare students for the National Theater Festivals Post COVID-19.
The Board continues to engage with stakeholders such as KUPAA on programs aimed at identifying and nurturing talents among the youth for job opportunities and wealth creation in line with the Presidential Big Four Agenda while at the same time inculcating moral values.
