KFCB HOSTS THE KENYA INTERNATIONAL THEATER FESTIVAL

KFCB CEO Dr Ezekiel Mutua today led the Board in a meeting with the Kenya International Theater Festival (KITF) leadership to explore a strategic partnership on the utilization of the Nairobi Film Centre as a platform for job creation and economic development for the youth in the creative industry.
KITF seeks to encourage theater arts practice and provide facilities such as theater space, gallery space, venue for musical performance, workshop areas, educational facilities, technical equipment for the growth and nurturing of theater activities in in the country.
The Board is committed to collaborate with stakeholders in activities that are geared toward exposing, generating, and easing accessibility of art that promotes the country’s culture and national aspirations to both the local and international art markets.
