The Kenya Film Classification Board Corporate Communications Manager, Nelly Muluka, today represented CEO Dr. Ezekiel Mutua at the Lake International PanAfrican Film Festival (LIPFF) opening forum taking place in Nakuru County.
In the discussions that sought to identify ‘The Role of Government in Promoting Film in Kenya’, she emphasized the Board’s commitment to support the film industry. Ms. Muluka also cited collaborations with strategic partners through which the Board is contributing to the growth of the creative industry.
“KFCB has been at the forefront in identifying and nurturing talent by offering a level playing ground for all stakeholders through initiatives such as the Sinema Mashinani,” she added while inviting players in the creative industry to take advantage of the Nairobi Film Centre that will offer a platform on which they will nurture their talents.
