SuperMetro Sacco PSV crew with the vehicle Registration No.KCX 210S plying on Waiyaki Way route are the fourth winners of the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) #FomuNiSafi campaign. Mr. Frederick Mwaura (driver) and Samuel Gacheru (conductor) were awarded Ksh.10, 000 for playing clean content, observing the regulations set by the Ministry of Health to stop the spread of COVID-19 and obtaining KFCB’s annual exhibitor’s license worth Ksh.2,000. The cash award was presented to the winners by the Board’s Corporate Communications Manager, Ms. Nelly Muluka on Friday 29th May, 2020 at the Westlands Stage. Mr. Michael Mutori, Inspector, SuperMetro Ltd, Mr. Richard W. Kanoru, Secretary General, Matatu Transport Vehicles Association and Mr. Mairice Oduor Ombambo, Operations Manager, Kileton Sacco oversaw the awarding ceremony. KFCB Nairobi Regional Head, Mr. Justin Ombati and the #FomuNiSafi campaign coordinator Mr. Sammy Ondimu Ngare, a police officer, who is also one of the Board’s Clean Content Ambassadors were also present. Also present at the awarding ceremony was Association of Matatu Operators (AMO), Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Beth Mbuitu. The #FomuNiSafi PSV campaign is on Ngong road this week.
