KFCB CEO Dr. Ezekiel Mutua earlier today presided over the opening of the 2nd Annual Broadway Extravaganza East Africa at the Nairobi Film Centre formally known as the Nairobi Cinema. KFCB is the sponsor of the three-day Workshop whose objective is to train creatives on Choreography, Music Composition and mentorship. While expressing the commitment of the Board to continue supporting talent, the CEO also insisted on the need for artistes to create clean content and use art as a tool of inculcating morals. “Content doesn’t have to be dirty, vulgar or over-sexualized in order to sell”. “Art is a powerful tool for transmitting our moral values and should be used responsibly,” remarked the CEO.
The Board intends to leverage on such forums to propel the agenda of clean content and promote moral responsibility among the young generation.
