The CEO Dr Ezekiel Mutua MBS and management hosted Mr. Tushar Vashnavi – the Canon Central and North Africa Sales Manager who paid a courtesy call to discuss collaborations in film and photography to preserve our cultural heritage and market the beautiful scenes in Kenya.
The Board is working on a partnership that will see collaboration in identifying and nurturing talent with Canon supporting our youth with modern equipment for film production and photography as well as training. Under this partnership KFCB will offer opportunities through our Sinema Mashinani Program waivers for filming licenses, marketing and entrepreneurship for youths in various counties.
The Board and Canon will sign an MOU and unveil program of activities and time frames for implementation. We thank Canon for this initiative and look forward to closer collaboration.
