The Kenya Film Classification Board, on Friday 19th June, 2020 awarded the seventh winning crew of the KFCB #FormNiSafi PSV Awards, this being the Juja Road Chapter. Mr. James Maina and Thomas Kimani of KCJ 461N belonging to the Five Friends Franchise Sacco (E.B.T.I) bagged the the cash award for being compliant to the KFCB licensing requirement by
obtaining an exhibitor’s license worth Ksh. 2,000 annually, playing clean content and observing the Covid-19 guidelines as guided by the Ministry of Health.
The awarding ceremony was held at the Huruma Kwa Chief stage and officiated by the KFCB Regional Head, Nairobi, Mr. Justin Ombati, accompanied by the campaign coordinator Mr.Sammy Ondimu Ngare.
Inspector Martin Mwaka, In-charge of Criminal Investigations (OC Crime), accompanied by Senior Surgent, Rashid Muktahr, representing the OCS, Juliana Wanyama of Huruma Police Station presented the cash award to the winners.
Mr. Geoffrey Chacha and Mr. Samuel Jonabi, directors of the Royal Swift Sacco, were present at the awarding ceremony.
This week’s campaign is on Mombasa Road and the winning crew will be announced on Friday 26th June, 2020.
