KFCB URGES CHURCHES TO INCULCATE NATIONAL VALUES​

Kenya Film Classification Board Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, yesterday led the Board’s management for a public sensitization on Board’s regulatory mandate at the Deliverance Church International Mwaasua in Mwala, Machakos County.
The CEO spoke about moral values and the role of religious institutions in cleaning the airwaves and restoration of Kenya’s morality and urged church leaders to be on the forefront in shaping the society towards embracing character formation and treasuring morality.
Dr. Mutua reiterated that the church is the national conscience of the society, noting that all the vices experienced in the society today have the foundation in the issues of morality.
The Board has enhanced strategic partnerships with interfaith organizations and religious leaders in the campaign to restore Kenya’s moral fabric, promotion of moral values and national aspirations as well as protecting children against exposure to inappropriate media content.
