The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) was awarded a special recognition certificate by Business Initiative Directions (BID) Awards 2018, for its sustained campaign on clean broadcast content on March 18, 2018 in a gala held in Frankfurt, Germany.
Madam Nelly Muluka, Corporate Communications Manager, KFCB, was bestowed the award by BID President and CEO Jose E. Prieto for KFCB’s immeasurable contribution to the Kenyan community.
“ I acknowledge this global award to Dr Ezekiel Mutua, Chief Executive Officer for being a visionary, innovative and hardworking with the backup of energetic managers and staff and a supportive Board of Directors,” she said.
Madam Nelly also on behalf of KFCB thanked the ministry of Sports and Heritage and the public for according KFCB overwhelming support for the ongoing crusade for clean broadcast content.
The international prestigious award comes after Dr. Mutua was recently named among 100 Most Reputable Africans by Reputation Poll, a Leading Global Reputation-Management Consulting Company.
The BID Quality Award is a mark of excellence achieved by an organization for progress, achievement, improved productivity and solutions proposed by an organization.
