An Ad hoc committee bringing together Matatu Welfare Association, Matatu Owners Association and the Association of Bus Owners of Kenya was established to work with KFCB Compliance Division to ensure compliance with law.
The Board will work with the PSV operators to develop and enforce a code of conduct for drivers and conductors in order to safeguard decency in the content exhibited or aired in the PSVs.
The CEO, Dr. Ezekiel Mutua reiterated that playing lewd and unpalatable content in PSVs will soon be a thing of the past if all stakeholders agree to work together.
